Many homebrewers prefer the longevity of stainless steel in brewing applications, as it doesn’t corrode or oxidize over time like copper. Normally you would have to spend more money on a SS chiller, but this one is currently priced affordably.
50′ means plenty of surface area to cool larger batches. Note that the only major downside to stainless vs copper is that steel has lower thermal conductivity than copper, which means the cooling process may take slightly longer than if you were using a copper chiller.
